Questions pilots ask
Is this a certified EFB?
No. It's a logbook and training companion. It has no moving map, no navigation guidance and no licensed aeronautical data.
Does it work without my school?
Yes. The app works fully offline as a private logbook. School features turn on when you sign in to an organization that uses GA Flight.
Do my post-flight entries count immediately?
No. You submit them for approval. Hours and billing only update once your instructor or school approves them.
Is the signature on my phone legally binding?
No. A signature drawn on the phone is informal. Verified records are signed on your school's server.
What happens if I lose my phone?
Sign in on a new device and your synced records are restored from the server. Your logbook isn't tied to one phone.
